How to customize your public Pilot profile with GuildPilot

Your Pilot profile can display a chosen handle, visibility, equipped collectibles and a showcase. It is private by default and does not publish which Discord servers you belong to or your server-local balances.

Before you start

Sign in with Discord. You need eligible Pack items for equipment or showcase sections; profile publication remains optional.

Configure the profile

1. Open Your profile

Open Profile from the Pilot navigation. Review the privacy explanation before choosing a public visibility mode.

2. Choose a handle and visibility

Enter an available handle using the accepted format and select the intended visibility. Save, then use View public page only after confirming what will be shown.

3. Equip collectibles

Under equipment, choose eligible items for the Title, Frame and Badge slots. Select Equip or Unequip; equipped copies cannot be listed in the marketplace.

4. Build the Showcase

Select up to six eligible items under Showcase, then choose Save showcase. Preview the public page and remove anything you do not want displayed.

Test the setup

1. Set a fictional handle and limited public visibility on a test account, equip one eligible item and add it to the showcase. Open the public page in a signed-out browser and confirm it does not reveal server memberships or local balances. Return the profile to private if the test should not remain visible.

What a successful setup looks like

The chosen public page resolves at the saved handle, shows only approved profile and collectible details, and leaves server membership and local balances private.

Common problems

A handle cannot be saved

Cause: It is invalid, reserved or already used.

Fix: Choose another handle that matches the format shown by the editor.

An item cannot be equipped

Cause: The item is not eligible for that slot or no available copy remains.

Fix: Check the item type and remove it from active marketplace listings before trying again.
