HOW IT WORKS

About Pilot Coin

The economy, the rates, the marketplace and pack fairness.

What is Pilot Coin?

Pilot Coin (GPC) is an account-wide currency. It works across every server, unlike local currencies that only exist on one server. No server can use the abbreviations "GPC" or "PC" for its own currency; both are reserved for Pilot Coin.

What is a server currency called?

Every server picks its own currency name, between 3 and 12 characters, and a short name that is exactly 3 characters or a single emoji. Names and short names are unique across GuildPilot: if another server has already claimed one, you pick something else.

Where does Pilot Coin come from?

Pilot Coin is issued into the global treasury on a controlled schedule and transferred — never minted — during reserve exchanges and item sales. Packs do not grant Pilot Coin. Every wallet starts at zero. Pilot Coin cannot be bought with real money and cannot be withdrawn.

Where does the rate come from?

For an active economy, the rate comes from its real active GPC reserve and backed local supply. The Kiosk shows both directions: GPC per local unit and local units per 1 GPC. Insurance and liability reserves cannot talk the rate up.

How does an economy activate?

An economy first runs for 14 complete UTC days in SHADOW, preserving its legacy rate and member balances. When every probe, reconciliation, bucket and reserve check passes, activation commits automatically and atomically. A failed check leaves it in SHADOW and alerts GuildPilot staff; no member balance moves before the safe commit.

What happens if a server goes away?

If a server economy resets or remains inactive for a long time, your net worth converts to Pilot Coin at 50%, and your items move to your global inventory with an origin server badge.

Marketplace tax

The seller pays tax by rarity: 2% COMMON, 5% RARE, 10% VERY RARE, 18% ULTRA, 30% ULTIMATE. The buyer pays exactly the shown price. Expired listings cost nothing.

Pack fairness

Results are drawn and awarded before animations start. The animation cannot change the outcome, and exact odds are shown before purchase.

A virtual economy game

Pilot Coin, server currencies and pack items are virtual. They have no monetary value and cannot be bought with real money or withdrawn. Pack results are drawn and granted before any animation plays.
