How to play Community Tic-tac-toe and Connect Four

Arcade offers Tic-tac-toe and Connect Four for two members. Play for free with a zero stake or use a stake both players accept. The invitation and board belong to one saved activity.

Before you start

  • Enable wallets, Games → Arcade, and the selected title.
  • Choose another current member who agrees to play and use the configured Games channel.

Warning: A non-zero stake commits coins under the reviewed match rules. Check the opponent and amount; selecting a member alone is not an accepted match.

Step by step

/arcade

1. Prepare an invitation

Run /arcade, select Tic-tac-toe or Connect Four and choose your opponent. Set the stake; zero allows a free match. Read the private review before confirming the public invitation.

2. Let the recipient accept

Only the invited member can accept or decline. They review the terms before joining. Other members can watch but cannot accept on the recipient's behalf.

3. Take turns on the board

Use the current board controls to make legal moves. Only the current player can act. Watch the displayed deadline and follow the saved board rather than an older message.

4. Read the result

Inspect the completed board and saved outcome. Any stake settles under the reviewed rules. Another match begins through fresh private setup and a new invitation.

Test the setup

  1. Invite a consenting second member with a zero stake.
  2. Have the recipient accept and verify that a bystander cannot take their place.
  3. Complete a game by alternating legal moves; check that the wrong player cannot move.
  4. Verify the result remains visible and no coins were charged. Decline any extra test invitation.

What a successful setup looks like

The intended pair accepts one match, only the current player can move and the public board reaches one saved result.

Common problems

The invitation cannot be accepted

Check the recipient, expiry and available coins when a stake applies. Prepare a new review for an expired invitation.

A move is rejected

Check whose turn it is and whether the position is legal. Use the latest controls; an earlier turn cannot be replayed.
