How to fund, hunt and take revenge on Community bounties
Bounties are quick, friendly 50/50 fights. Each hunter gets one free attempt at a funded reward. The target can take one free revenge rematch against each hunter, even after the prize has been claimed.
Before you start
- Enable wallets and Games → Bounties, and use the configured Games hub channel.
- Only the poster needs coins to fund the reward. The target does not need an existing Community wallet.
- Hunters and targets must meet the configured server membership requirement.
Step by step
Run /bounty.
1. Fund a bounty
Choose Fund a bounty, select a current human member, set the reward and review it before confirming. The amount is reserved. The public wanted card tags the target once.
2. Take one free hunt
Another member presses Hunt · 50% chance. The target does not need to be online or accept. The result is saved before the short reveal: 1–50 wins for the hunter; 51–100 wins for the target.
A successful hunter receives the entire reward and closes the bounty. A loss costs nothing and leaves the reward for other hunters. Each hunter gets one attempt per bounty; the poster and target cannot claim it. The configured hunter cooldown applies between different bounties.
3. Take revenge as the target
Only the target can press Revenge on a hunt result. It runs one free 50/50 rematch against that hunter, regardless of the original outcome. A revenge roll of 1–50 wins for the target. Revenge records the result for bragging rights and never changes the bounty payout or creates another rematch.
Find pending rematches through /bounty → My revenge fights for seven days after each hunt. Revenge updates the original fight card.
Unclaimed rewards return to the poster after the configured lifetime, defaulting to seven days. Routine game updates edit existing cards without adding wallet notices.
Test the setup
- Fund a small reward on a test member who has not opened a Community wallet.
- Hunt with another member and inspect the saved outcome.
- Confirm a repeat click shows the same fight without another attempt or payment.
- Let the target take revenge. Confirm a bystander cannot use that button and the payout remains final.
What a successful setup looks like
The target is tagged once, hunts resolve immediately, and each hunter gets one attempt. Revenge is free, belongs to the target and preserves the original payout.
Common problems
A hunt or revenge is unavailable
Check the bounty status, previous attempts, membership requirement and hunter cooldown. Revenge belongs to the original target and expires seven days after that hunt.
The public result could not be delivered
Use Retry public message in the private error receipt. It reuses the saved fight and payout without rerolling.
An older fight still has tactical buttons
Fights already in progress before this update retain their original rules and settle or expire normally.
