How to set up the Community Shop and exchange gifts

The Community Shop sells useful supplies and cosmetic items for this server's coins. Members browse variants, inventory and gifts without typing item IDs. Fishing and hunting catches keep their own collections.

Before you start

  • Administrators need dashboard access to configure Economy → Shop & Inventory. Enable wallets and Shop actions.
  • Prepare a low-cost test product and a consenting second member for gift acceptance.

Warning: A role pass or cosmetic role must use an ordinary unmanaged role with no permissions, below GuildPilot's role. Confirming a purchase spends coins; confirming a gift reserves its items or funding until the invitation is resolved.

Step by step

/shop

1. Prepare products and stock

Open Shop & Inventory and review starter products. Set the name, description, price, package quantity, effect, variants, stock and member limits. Review the restock schedule where used. Save the product and enable the Shop actions members should have.

2. Browse and buy from the private menu

Run /shop, choose a category and open a product. Inspect the variant, quantity, stock and price. Review the purchase before confirming; changed terms require another review.

3. Use your inventory

Open the inventory from /shop and select the owned item. Available actions depend on its effect: consume supplies, equip a title or activate a role pass. Check remaining uses, active items and any pending role delivery. Some supplies are selected inside the relevant game.

4. Send and receive gifts

Choose a product gift or an eligible owned item, select a member and review it. Confirming creates one public invitation. Only the recipient accepts or declines; the giver can cancel. Declined, cancelled or expired invitations return the reserved assets.

Test the setup

  1. Use a test member to buy the low-cost product; verify the exact wallet debit and inventory quantity.
  2. Open the item and inspect its available action without consuming anything unintentionally.
  3. Send a gift to the second member. Test cancellation or rejection and verify the reservation returns.
  4. If testing acceptance, verify the item appears once for the recipient. Disable a test-only product after completing the check.

What a successful setup looks like

Products show their actual terms, purchases add the correct quantities and gifts move only after the recipient accepts. Pending role delivery stays visible.

Common problems

The product is sold out or a limit is reached

Check stock, variants, restock timing and the member's owned or purchased quantity. Use the displayed limits.

A role has not appeared

Check the pending inventory status and ask an administrator to verify the selected role and hierarchy. A timed pass starts after successful role assignment; do not buy another merely to retry delivery.
