How to find and review server members with GuildPilot
The Members area combines the synchronized Discord directory with GuildPilot activity and leveling data. Staff can locate a member, open their profile and review the context available for that server before taking action.
Before you start
You need dashboard access. Member synchronization and the Discord Server Members Intent must be available for a complete directory; activity and leveling sections only show data those features have collected.
Review a member
1. Open Members
Choose your server, then select Overview → Members. The directory shows current synchronized members and the available level and recent activity columns.
2. Search and sort the directory
Use Search members with a display name, username or Discord ID. Use Sort by and Order to compare level, rank, joined date, activity or name.
3. Open the member profile
Choose Open profile for the correct member. Review their roles, activity summary, leveling progress and earned awards; staff-only sections can also include XP and moderation history.
4. Use moderation controls only with verified context
If your account has the required Discord permission, open Moderate from the member entry or profile. Confirm the target and action on the preparation screen before executing it.
Warning: Moderation actions can change a member's access or remove them from the server. Verify the target, Discord hierarchy and reason before confirmation.
Test the setup
- Use a staff account and search for a fictional test member already present in the server. Open the profile and confirm the displayed roles and recent activity agree with Discord and the Activity page. Do not execute a moderation action merely to test the directory.
What a successful setup looks like
Staff can find current members predictably, open the correct profile and distinguish synchronized Discord details from GuildPilot activity, leveling and moderation records.
Common problems
A current member is missing
Cause: The synchronized member directory is incomplete or the Server Members Intent is unavailable.
Fix: Open the server overview, check the setup health notice and recheck the Discord member intent.
A profile shows no rank
Cause: Leveling is disabled or the member has not earned qualifying XP.
Fix: Review Community → Leveling and the member's XP history before assuming the profile is stale.
