GuildPilot Beta
Getting started and administration

Compare message, voice, member-growth and ranking data so you can understand how your Discord community is changing.

How to understand server statistics with GuildPilot

Statistics brings message activity, voice time, member changes and rankings into one server view. You will learn how to choose a period, recognize incomplete coverage and compare trends without treating partial data as a complete history.

Warning: Statistics can be partial when tracking, Discord intents or historical coverage are missing. Check the coverage notice before using the figures for moderation or staffing decisions.

Before you start

You need dashboard access for the server. Turn on Activity if you want message and voice totals to continue growing; the relevant Discord intents must also be available for the signals you expect to see.

Read your server statistics

1. Open Statistics

Choose your server in the dashboard, then select Overview → Statistics. Read any coverage or intent notice before interpreting the totals.

2. Choose a Period

Use Period to select the window you want to examine. The coverage line shows how many tracked days contribute to the result and identifies when today is still partial.

3. Compare Activity and Member changes

Open Activity to review messages and voice time, then Member changes to compare current-member join history with joins and departures GuildPilot recorded live. These views describe different populations and should not be treated as interchangeable.

4. Review Rankings

Open Rankings to compare the members with the most messages or voice time during the selected period. Use the Members guide when you need an individual profile rather than a server-wide comparison.

Test the setup

  1. Use a staff account with dashboard access. Record one eligible message and a short eligible voice session, then return after the activity has been processed. Confirm that the coverage remains visible and that the relevant totals eventually include the new activity. No cleanup is necessary.

What a successful setup looks like

The page shows a clear coverage window, available activity charts, member-change context and rankings for the same selected period. Any missing intent or disabled-tracking condition is displayed instead of silently presenting incomplete data as complete.

Common problems

Statistics are empty

Cause: Activity tracking has not collected eligible events yet, or the chosen period predates the available record.

Fix: Open Community → Activity, confirm tracking is enabled, and wait for new eligible activity.

Member totals do not match live joins and departures

Cause: Current members is a synchronized snapshot, while live movement starts when GuildPilot begins recording those events.

Fix: Read the explanation under each chart and compare only equivalent coverage windows.
