GuildPilot Beta
Pilot Markets and collectibles

Configure a server-isolated fictional economy, earning rules, tradable assets, announcements and safety checks before launch.

How to launch Pilot Markets on your Discord server

Pilot Markets creates a fictional economy that belongs only to one Discord server while its assets follow the global simulated market. This guide prepares the command channel, currency, earning rules, trading controls and member communication before activation.

Before you start

You need dashboard access and a text channel for economy commands. Pilot Markets is disabled by default, uses no real money and does not make balances or assets withdrawable or exchangeable outside GuildPilot.

Prepare and launch the economy

1. Open Pilot Markets and choose the economy channel

Select Community → Pilot Markets → Overview, choose the economy command channel and save. Commands load for this server only after the economy is active.

2. Configure Currency and Earning Rules

Set the visible currency identity, starting balance and privacy under Currency. Under Earning Rules, configure only the activity rewards and caps you want members to use.

3. Review Trading Rules, Assets and announcements

Set the market mode, fees, limits and timezone under Trading Rules. Use Assets to control new purchases, and Announcements & Tax to choose trade, milestone and tax destinations.

4. Check Economy Audit and Economy Health

Review recent transactions and every health warning. Resolve missing channels, invalid settings or launch blockers before making the economy active.

5. Activate the economy

Return to Overview, review the launch summary and enable the economy. The first launch locks protected issuance rules; a full reset is a separate destructive workflow.

Warning: A full economy reset affects member balances and positions. Do not use it as a normal settings edit or testing shortcut.

Test the setup

  1. Use a non-staff test member in the chosen economy channel. Run /balance, then /market info, and confirm both respond for the correct server. If a small test reward is enabled, claim it and inspect Economy Audit; clean up only through supported adjustment controls.

What a successful setup looks like

The Overview is active, /balance, /daily, /market and /portfolio are loaded for the server, the health view has no launch blocker and members see the configured server currency.

Common problems

Economy commands do not appear

Cause: The economy is still a draft, the feature is unavailable or command registration has not completed.

Fix: Confirm the Overview says active and check Economy Health before contacting support.

Members can sell but cannot buy an asset

Cause: Buying for that asset is disabled; existing positions remain sellable.

Fix: Review Assets and enable new purchases only when intended.
